After filing a complaint this morning with the AG of Ohio - I called @MichaelsStores I got their own representative - not the the call center but the USA corporate CSR confirming a policy the company denied 2 yrs ago.
Call is being transcribed now.

I filed my AG complaint and called @MichaelsStores.
Here's what I got on the record.
On tape, they told me there's a policy against "inappropriate" items. Then they put my three pieces in that box: an image of my President, a religious @McNaughtonArt painting of most of our presidents in prayer, and an original moon landing newspaper. They called them "sensitive items" that are "inappropriate."
The President. Prayer. The moon landing.
If that's the policy, Michaels should just say it out loud: No Christians. No Conservatives. No Republican voters.

Cute that an account with no skin in the game gets to lecture the people who were on the calls that were released and wrote the book about it months ago on what “really matters.” The archive didn’t fall out of the sky. Some of us spent a decade inside it so the rest of you could stumble across the leftovers and call it discovery. Citation isn’t ego.
