47 Milliarden Euro fürs Bürgergeld sind viel Geld – ja. Aber sie sichern Existenzen in einem der reichsten Länder der Welt. Dass knapp die Hälfte der Beziehenden keinen deutschen Pass hat, ist erklärbar: Viele Geflüchtete und Migrant*innen dürfen oder können (noch) nicht arbeiten – wegen Sprachkursen, fehlender Anerkennung ihrer Abschlüsse oder weil sie schlicht traumatisiert sind. Das macht sie nicht zu Schmarotzern, sondern zu Menschen in einem schwierigen Übergang.

„Migrantengeld“ ist kein objektiver Begriff, sondern bewusste Stimmungsmache. Bürgergeld ist keine Belohnung für Passbesitz, sondern ein soziales Netz für alle, die hier leben – das ist zivilisatorischer Standard, kein Fehler im System.

Die 4 Milliarden Euro, die syrische Staatsangehörige erhalten, stehen in keinem Verhältnis zum Haushalt der Bundespolizei – das ist ein rhetorischer Taschenspielertrick, um Neid zu schüren. Man könnte ebenso fragen, wie viel in fossile Subventionen fließt oder in Rüstung.

Wer die Kosten senken will, braucht keine Feindbilder, sondern Lösungen:
Spracherwerb beschleunigen. Abschlüsse schneller anerkennen. Bürokratie abbauen. Arbeitsverbote abschaffen.
So entsteht Integration – und mittelfristig auch weniger Bürgergeldbedarf.
