Wants to be turned into a diamond upon death; demands a magician levitate her corpse at her funeral and mimes to mock the mourners. There will be snacks.
🚨They're telling you "Canada caved" on the Gordie Howe Bridge. Read the actual terms.
The U.S. gets half of net profits, not revenue — after Canada's $6.4B is paid back first. Trump got a headline.
Canada kept the bridge, the revenue priority, and the traffic. 👇 https://t.co/KkQ3qHijO2
Some people say that both American and Canadian media have been leaning heavily into negative stories about Canada lately.
You guys can see it in Canadian headlines that focus on economic slowdowns, political drama, or social tensions, while barely mentioning Canada’s new trade agreements, rising global trust, or the fact that many international partners see Canada as a stable, reliable leader.
When Canadian outlets repeat these 'gloomy' narratives, it unintentionally supports the U.S. media’s storyline that Canada is “struggling.”
For example, some Canadian news segments highlight job losses without EVER mentioning gains in other sectors, or they amplify political scandals while ignoring major diplomatic wins.
This creates a really distorted picture that benefits certain voices in the U.S. who want to believe they’re “winning” against Canada, even though the U.S. is facing terribly serious challenges right now.
Canadians shouldn’t let this shake their confidence....
- Our country has incredibly strong alliances, securing new economic opportunities, and a mapped out long‑term strategy for total stability.
Part of modern economic war, like the one were in right now, is the 'information war' — and sometimes the loudest stories aren’t the most accurate.
So keep calm, you incredible Canadians, stay proud, and trust that the adults in the room are guiding Canada toward an incredible future.
If you’re looking for wins, and we all are, remember that not every victory makes the front page.
Some of Canada’s strongest successes are happening quietly, and they will shape a bright future for all of us.
Stay amazing and stay tough, you awesome Canucks,
We got this. 🇨🇦

What Trump has done to our Canadian friends & neighbors regarding the Gordie Howe bridge is f’n shameful mob boss BS. They paid over 6 billion to build it, we had agreed all along w/plan & then he demanded 50% of the tolls & co-ownership to allow it to open. Boycott US goods CA.
If carney doesn't cave to Trump's CUSMA demands, it's bad according to the conservatives
If carney does cave to Trump's Gordie Howe bridge demands, it's bad according to the conservatives.
Which is it? Is caving bad or not?
I totally get it and believe it was the right decision for the overall impact. This is one situation where I, personally, would have cut off my nose to spite my face. It's galling. Good thing I'm not PM!
Not happy with this decision, and I hope the Ethics Committee doesn't give up on the Bribery Allegations involved with the closing of the Gordie Howe Bridge.
Canada got pushed into a corner even though they paid for the Bridge, but ultimately the economic damage of it remaining closed led Canada to concede.
"Ultimately, PM Mark Carney's government recognized that it was facing an asymmetrical threat."
"The administration in Washington was willing to let a critical piece of infrastructure sit empty to satisfy domestic political interests and protectionist policies."
"Canada realized that fighting a multi-year legal or political battle over the original 2012 contract would cost the Canadian economy billions in lost trade, supply chain bottlenecks, and investor panic.
"Giving up 50% of the toll profits to the U.S. fund was the fastest, most pragmatic way to unlock the border and save the country's broader economy."
1. Learn our Westminster system and separation of powers @SenAdamSchiff. The decision is provincial purview.
2. You can’t force Canadians to buy US products. On shelf or off, Canadians are defending our sovereignty any way we can.
3. You should have jailed Trump after Jan 6.
Cochrane: "This week when they announced the subs, your party put out a statement calling it a fake announcement. So everything is meaningless and everything is fake ... If you bid on a house and your bid is accepted, there's still work to do before it's finalized. But it's real. It's not fake."
It is a national disgrace a Canadian company - Nova Red Mining - would hire this monster who should never set foot in Canada. @PhilEhr@NovaRedMining@KristiNoem

When we finally get rid of this obese drug addict who spent the day drooling in a Benzoed stupor in his Depends, hiding from the world in the WH residence, lets hold every member of his Cabinet & family accountable. Some will want to move on, don’t do that, make them f’n PAY.
Pierre poilievre claims he can save Canada's economy but he couldn't even stay within a budget for his own party
How is that showing Canadians he is fiscally responsible and PM material?
