@RajChipalu Yes signing Mitchell Robinson, trading for Gafford or keeping Ayton & Hayes would have been far better moves lmao. But if LA just re-signed Smart and Rui rather than acquire Sandro and Sexton, this would at least look like a really strong team smh
@sammarl@1cameronj Counting stats will always be more important than “impact” lmao do you even know how to evaluate impact? It’s become more of a cliche at this point based on reputation and Twitter narratives than reality lol
@tylerbritton_ The question was according to NBA Twitter—not NBA fans in general—so it’s the opposite lol. Melo, Rose and Iverson are probably the most underrated guys on this app historically
@APH00PS The Knicks, 76ers and Pacers are the 3 best teams in the East. Miami and Toronto are probably next. The Pistons, Cavs and Celtics will be good in the regular season, but have no chance to make the finals come playoff time
@Sean_Davi This is Rob’s first awful free agency—the old Rob never would’ve done this. These moves were probably pushed by the new ownership and the new front office people they brought in. Replacing Smart/Rui with Sandro/Sexton is absolutely disgusting though
@bluelemxnade Dean Wade, Keon Ellis, Kevin Huerter and Sandro are getting overpaid like crazy while Smart and Oubre couldn’t even get $10M a year lmao NBA front offices are so incredibly dumb it’s honestly pathetic
@Nittanylion02@PranavSriraman Sandro’s deal is certifiably insane. Sexton is decent but Smart is much better AND he got less money. Grimes is good but they could’ve got Oubre for cheaper. LA really had two perfect role players in Rui & Smart and lost both! Watson would’ve been a better pickup than Kessler
@spainpnr This is Rob’s first awful free agency—the old Rob never would’ve done this. These moves were probably pushed by the new ownership and the new front office people they brought in. But I’m honestly disgusted as a Lakers fan—I’m genuinely sick to my stomach from these moves
@johnrivers131 Monk would be a great addition and it shouldn’t cost too much to acquire him. Denver’s front office is pretty bad though so not expecting much lol
@tylerbritton_@PaoloXBane Why does Rui go from being an excellent 3 point shooter in the regular season to otherworldly in the playoffs? Why does Smart always shoot better from 3 in the playoffs? Why was it the exact opposite with DLo? Confidence and performing well under pressure are absolutely a thing
@BKSecretsports@tylerbritton_ Pritchard literally got a wide open corner 3 off a Jaylen Brown pass and missed it lmao. And Mazzulla is a one-trick pony lol
@CTFazio24 Just completely insane and unjustified. Strawther has his problems but he’s one of the few players on this team that has any sort of skill on the offensive end
@CTFazio24 Agree with Malone and Russ but Cam Johnson played well for Denver in two straight elimination games. Yeah he wasn’t great overall, but MPJ was also underwhelming for the most part
