@brandonmcneice @PresentWitness_ I’m mystified by your position. For various reasons. I’ll focus on one: We have to use language to know how it is being used and to know what context. So that presupposes some way of communication that is fixed at *some* point. “Anything goes” doesn’t permit that.

@brandonmcneice @PresentWitness_ I never said that there was. However there must be some set of criterion to evaluate proper use of language and improper use, otherwise anything goes. I just so happen to be in the camp that espouses that ‘criterion’ should not be confused with ‘criteria’.

@hf_222222 Perhaps I am naïve but perhaps this is a way for the Holy Spirit to show the plain absurdity of the “dialogue” approach of some of our ecclesiastical leaders. Those that want synodality to be the norm of the Church cannot cast out the—perceived— lepers.

@selsickr @DavidFAHoinski I agree that he ridicules everyone. Myself included. But as a non-Nietzschean, I'm not looking to be spared from Nietzsche's ridicule. I do not see him as a friend.

Surely you see it is deeply ironic to see those denied by their master by trying to follow him.
