He asked a teenager to say "excuse me" and the teens parents k*lled him for it.

His name was Bert Atienza. He was 77 years old.

He and his wife Josephine had been married for FORTY-TWO YEARS and on Sunday, June 7th, they went to church.

Then they stopped at the Walmart to do their grocery shopping.

Josephine says a 17-year-old Black female employee came through with a heavy cart and nearly slammed into her.

No "excuse me." No apology. Nothing.

So Bert did what husbands do, he spoke up for his wife.

In his wife's words, he told that girl: "You almost hit my wife with your heavy cart, and you did not even say excuse me or apologize to her."

Josephine says the teenager then THREW A CAN at them as they walked away. It missed.

The elderly couple, not wanting any trouble, just kept shopping.

Minutes later, that girl's PARENTS showed up at the store, found the 77-year-old man and beat him to de*th.

In his wife's words:

"They crowded my husband, one of the adults hit him in the face. He fell down on the floor. I was terrified. I don't know what's going on."

The Medical Examiner's ruling: blunt head trauma.

@OwlsCubedStudio Hi! Since the update my realm won’t let me join. If I remove the add on it lets me join. I’ve deleted it fully and updated it and it still won’t let me join. I’m bummed bc I use so many of the blocks in my builds so my realm is non playable without it and I’m unsure what to do

Mayor Zohran Mamdani is playing a dangerous game of political theater.

After a hospital visit to Jabez Chakraborty, the man who marched at officers with a kitchen knife, Mamdani is now standing by the bedside of a man on a ventilator, claiming he deserves "treatment, not prosecution." It’s a calculated move to push his new Department of Community Safety, using a life-or-death confrontation as a campaign prop.

​The body cam footage tells a story the Mayor wants to ignore. Officers didn't rush in guns blazing; they retreated. They put a glass door between them and the blade. They pleaded with Jabez to drop the weapon. It was only when he was charging at them with the knife, that they fired.

To call for "no charges" isn't about mental health; it's about shifting the narrative to make the police the villains in a situation where they were the ones being hunted. Mamdani is trading officer safety for political points, and the city is watching the mask slip.
