@Rahll If this does happen, artists do need to know this needs to be more akin to paid royalties. Not per image . They would be ingesting your art style as well as the final image. Worth a lot more than 6 hours, it’s probably closer to 5000 how long the artist took to get to that level.
@sainimatic True, it can be unforgiving, really wrecks the wrists/elbows over time. Not to mention the psychological/ physical hits every morning when see your work unfinished with so much to do. Plus one wrong tap of the chisel or you hit an imperfection in the stone, bam! all for nothing.

Our styles have been formed from this, but had to be replicated by artists under us in a repeatable, predicatable way. The term “art direction” is a relic of other industries; film and advertising applied by non visual designers in games an era ago.

@lone_Wolf06 Comprehensive list , but Wolverine 47- 50 would also be good, Hama/ Silvestri produce some of the best wolverine content and definitive visuals. It would be nice if you credited the visual storytellers as well, it’s lame to exclude them.
@Fabrazz@MikeDiskett Nope . Dont think so. A good visual art team / director can take care of it. Most comes from them anyway, it just bypass all the world building , design back and forth/systems and just go for the throat and shows a window to the good stuff. @Rahll@tosh_fieldsend Its common enough in games . skillsets normally found in concept art style cutscenes,cinematics and animated concept art for loading screens and UI.
@jadel4w Art Talent was an acelerator for me but still required engagement. It would make my first attempt at something look like I’d being doing it for five.
But it all plateaus pretty fast and hard work and study has to take over. For me it was 18- 20yrs old then I had to work hard.
