Today's Black American (Freedmen) inventor is just 20 years old. At age 17, she used beet juice to invent sutures that change colors to detect infections in surgical wounds. The sutures change from red to purple when it detects an infection.
This is just FURTHER proof that Black Americans (Freedmen) are STILL inventing just as much now as we did before.
