@djschoen24@RyanDePaul Twitter has an epidemic with this for all fan bases. It makes having sports discussions so difficult. It bothers me when Chiefs accounts calling for firing Andy and calling Brady mediocre and people think all of us think like that.
@CryptMidwest@TheHerd@colincowherd Seriously! The agony! These Twitter handles and media personalities want us to go into a shell of depression for a 5-5 season after living through the 90s, 2-14, and the below games.
@FTFonFS1@getnickwright It’s not so much that the Chiefs are worse than last year. That takes away credit from the improvement of the other teams. The competition just got better. Den, LAC, Colts. Jags. Bills, Steelers, Ravens. AFC is not easy. Most teams have a QB they feel good about.
@jwbrower@td_nash You know actually I was in 5th grade when Montana arrived so technically he should be my answer and I remember him there and watching games. I felt my understanding of football was better by Bono.
@JeezLaWeez1984@Cerrone_Battle Maybe not you but a lot of patriots fans are acting as if somehow the Chiefs/Mahomes organization is a failure because they can’t sustain something that only one other franchise in history has done. Most are responding to the irrational fans are expecting rationality.
Andy Reid revitalized the culture of the @Chiefs. Took a 2–14 team to 11–5 in the 1st yr and has had a winning record every season since. 9 consecutive division titles, 5 SB appearances, and 3 championships. Let’s not lose sight of that in temporary anger #ChiefsKingdom
@priceacarter I’m fine with people pointing out the penalties they think were missed, but it’s wild to act like it never goes the other way. So every opponent is flawless and nothing gets missed on their end? Let’s at least be fair.
@LocalLegendCoop I’m starting to just let these arguments go and enjoy the moment. I don’t understand the point of all these GOAT or “who’s better”debates. When he took over, the franchise it had one ring, now they have four.
@TemLassila @espn@billbarnwell Go look at how many of these guys are still on the team. Not pitctured Kadarius Toney. They won a SB. He absolutely was able to make players better around him. He’s just having an off year by his standards.
@thefib0624 I’m glad there’s still some common sense fandom left. I don’t agree with my fellow Chiefs fans on the Brady/Mahomes debate at this point because of head to head and longevity but it’s disingenuous to discredit the success.
@ScaryBledsoe Pat was raised by a pro athlete, so he’s naturally great at the podium, and he knows when he needs to be better. After wins he points out the areas he can improve on. Fans lock on to players. If they love you, you can do no wrong. They hate you, it’s memes. I try to be realistic.
@QsamaBJohnston Our fanbase has picked up quite a few ppl that are young or didnt experience the bad teams. This is nothing for most of the fanbase from KC like me and/or longtime fans. I don’t understand in what world the last 7 years have been a failure because of this season.
@MySportsUpdate Teams in the division got better. The Chiefs won the division nine years in a row and at some point, it was bound to happen. As a KC native, I was thrilled just to get the first one. I never could have imagined everything they’ve accomplished since.
