Mikel Arteta took your hate and derision and won a league title with it. He walked a tightrope between glory and ignominy and ended it as a king.

It is, in fairness, an individual award. And Declan Rice didn't do it all himself.
[CUT TO: Rice scythes a counter down in open space, pops up, carries the ball 80 yards to the other box, the Arsenal shot goes out for a corner, Rice takes a breath and drops it on Gabriel's head]
As with much of the season, think the psychology/approach Arsenal argument obscures a simpler truth. Have better technical players available and guess what you can play better football! There's a delta between Martinelli and Gyokeres (from Bournemouth game) and Odegaard and Eze.
For someone who seems generally to have his finger on the pulse of fan sentiment, this is a bizarre take from Carragher.
Neutrals have been rooting for City over teams they care about for basically the last decade.

@LetsTalk_FPL Foden should be 5th choice CAM behind Rogers, Bellingham, Palmer and Eze. Absolutely zero reason to take him based on his country and club form beyond his ‘potential’
