Junta spokesman Zaw Min Tun said local PDF forces torched down 4 houses in Thantlang town while running away from their troops and they couldn’t stop the fire because PDF were shooting them.
He said media organizations are writing “groundless accusations” towards military.
About 300 houses including two big churches of Thantlang town were burned down due to junta’s artilleries.
Chin human rights organizations have demanded the U.N Security Council to convene an emergency meeting to address the situation.
