Today my brother makes the final start of his career.
It will be his first start in Detroit for the Tigers in 9 years and 37 days (August 2017).
So many memories in Detroit.
Baseball is my life. A huge reason for that is my brother. I fell in love with baseball watching him play.
Today I get to watch him play one more time. Let’s do this.
Go Tigers.

Lateral flexion combined with lordosis creates axial rotation of the pelvis.
Apologize for posting quite possibly the most overused video in regard to spinal engine theory.
The original post was about not forcing separation by excessive counter rotation of the torso and instead a concept by Frans Bosch describing real rotation. The torso and pelvis rotate in the same direction in sequence instead of opposite directions. Pelvis rotates before the torso while the torso stays neutral. The initial pelvic rotation is created by lateral flexion combined with lordosis. The point of the post was to describe not forcing deeper positions by going opposite directions as it will result in net zero in rotation. True rotation regulates muscle slack to keep the abs and obliques in optimal length when referring to the length tension relationship. False rotation creates too much length to keep the abs and obliques in optimal length to regulate slack.
You don’t just dump the torso backwards and push the hips forward to create seperation. The only thing you get from that is jamming facet joints into each other and too much slack in the torso.
Details are important
You don’t find them by guessing
Thanks to all the support from my friends and family, but after some thought, I've decided to commit to East Stroudsburg University. I appreciate everyone who has helped me get to where I am now.
