@Patrickwebb They haven't covered it because they were IN the whole thing from the start. Fuck Fauci. Fuck him to his grave. He has many deaths on his hands.
@LamCran007@Lionbush@TheCriticalDri2 The party isn't large/noticeable enough to appear on the ballots; they weren't mentioned once in the recent bi-elections, Reform took a lot of local council seats from Labour.
@Lossantosroast1@TwoPennyPuppet@Nerdrotics Sam's tenure as Captain America is widely considered a failure; they want Rogers back in the suit. The problem is that Evans, like most of Hollylimp, can't or won't keep his political views to himself while he's on the job, or keep real-world politics out of entertainment period.
@Nerdrotics I would be happy if the franchise continued. WITHOUT HIM. He and Chris did so much damage over the past 9 or so years. I'm just glad he's gone. Let it sit for a few years and then bring in someone who knows the true lore and is willing to overwrite everything he and Chris did.
@IsaacHayes3 The jury ruled based on the facts and the evidence as presented. Karnello instigated that altercation. He escalated it. He sat down holding the knife. He intended to use it. He brought it to school. He ignore 15 requests to leave a tent he shouldn’t have been in.
@LDTrueBlue@GrossSeven@MichaelShanks Are you kidding? Just look at the state each of those franchises is currently in now and you will have your answer. Stargate does NOT need to be "reinvented" for a "Modern Audience" its fine the way it is. Gero knows that. Amazon don't want that they want Stargate: Rings of Power
@Someone68792296@rachel_luttrell The reason Amazon scrapped it is BECAUSE they wanted to make it woke. They wanted to do Stargate: Rings of Power, but the showrunners, writers and produces, most of whom worked on SG1 and SGA, and know the lore, said "No, we're not Rings of Power-ing it." so it got canned.
@GrossSeven@MichaelShanks Yeah, they never even said which party Henry Hayes represented while he was president, and that is how you do it.
Amazon wanted to do to Stargate what they did to LOTR, what Disney did to Star Wars, the BBC did to Doctor Who, and Alex Kurtzman did to Star Trek.
@GrossSeven@MichaelShanks I doubt that will happen, or if it does, they'll bring in someone who doesn't care about per-established lore, and they'll Rings-Of-Power the hell out of it. Which is what the execs WANTED to do, but the showrunners, writers and produces said "No" so now they're fired.
@MichaelShanks It's really disappointing. I was really looking forward to this continuation, and hopefully getting some lore-related questions answered that SG1 and Atlantis never did, such as the time frame for the Nox/Asgard/Furling/Ancient alliance, along with the true origin of the wraith.
@DirtCatRetro @MichaelShanks Yeah, overall interest in TLOTR IP has actually declined since Rings of Failure, and it was BECAUSE of Rings of Failure. There is a way to keep old fans and attract new ones, but neither Amazon nor Disney are either able or willing to do so.
@thatstarwarsgrl Tell me 'bout it. I was SO pissed when i found out. WTF were those execs thinking? Have they learned nothing from Rings of Failure or Disney's continued blind stumblings off the cliff of financial ruin like lemmings?
