@BeardwoodThomas The funniest thing is seeing people say it should be hit because it's splashable when the only place it's remotely close to being problematic is in-archetype.
@FriedShidou Blue Lock was very funny for exactly the opposite reason to me because it's crazy that Kaneshiro wrote a manga about a sport he seemingly knows fuck all about
@SeKakapo@WilliamWho27 I wouldn't go that far but yeah, at his best he's a 6/10 merchant and the closest stuff he's made to Doctor Who is a shitty His Dark Materials adaptation and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
@Gamer_Girl_Nowa@G5_Trash Why would it be bad to "farm" what is supposed to be a top level premier event? The point of competitive events is to compete.
And why would you think someone wouldn't want to travel to have fun with their hobby?
@The_ddynamite@Squiddytastic There isn't a large collector's market in Yu-Gi-Oh but the collector's market that exists is all about this stuff. It's not just that it's first ed, it's that it's an iconic card from early in the game.
@EmberTCG The only problem with this format is that the third part of this triangle is pseudo-ftk decks that prey on the heavy engine decks, and I don't think the gameplay of those combo decks is good no matter what deck you're playing into them.
@RobertSecundus Writers rooms used to stay together much longer. ~30 weeks a year, they'd have writers on set during production and while one season was being filmed they'd also begin work on the next.
With streaming in modern day they only get together after the next season is greenlit.
@AriWasserman The worldwide talent pool for American football is so minuscule compared to football that you can't make an accurate comparison. The game just has so much depth of talent that, on a good day, a team of pros that aren't top-level players can hold their own against the best.
@Lav_Muse The British version of Omelas would end with them finding out that the child didn't have to suffer for the society to be good, then they'd make more children suffer, then they'd choose to make the society worse on purpose.
