Apollo iOS 1.1.0 is out! 1.1.0 focuses on providing the ability to initialize the generated models manually. This makes it easier to write manual data to the cache; use models in unit tests; and create UI fixtures (loading states and Swift UI previews).

@BrennanLM@samreich@PoutineDragon@GameChangerSam Wingspan is an incredible game! I'm sure you'll be a pro at it in weeks. If you need a training partner, there's a digital version of the game that I'm happy to humble you at sometime. @samreich is going to need someone to help take you down a notch once you know ALL THE BIRDS!
@johnpvajda@OpenAI I really want to figure out how to use it more in my daily life. I feel like it's probably super useful in ways I haven't identified yet!
@choi_aj@Carnage4Life I've met Sasha. We just recently spoke at the same conference. She is a very senior engineering lead and a super bad ass. @sachee come work with us at Apollo!
@clemcardonnel@apollographql Yes, that is calling into the old tooling. We also recommend only running codegen when you make changes to your GraphQL files instead of every time you build!
@clemcardonnel@apollographql We hadn't learned about XcodeProjectPlugins until after shipping 1.0. We fixed this in the main branch and it will be in 1.0.1 shipping in the next few days. Try the main branch for now!
@clemcardonnel@apollographql We will be working on a migration guide ASAP. The biggest piece of migrating is setting up the new code generation. We've been fixing a few bugs with the new codegen. I recommend out get started guide in the mean time! https://t.co/GwDEZvNTrY
In this talk we'll cover some of the benefits, challenges, and techniques associated with splitting a #GraphQL#iOS app into modules. Save your seat at #GraphQLSummit here: https://t.co/qmKQi95hWF
The Apollo iOS 1.0 Release Candidate has been published! The RC is a fully featured and code-complete 1.0 version. This does not include complete documentation or migration guides, which will be completed prior to the official release (coming very soon)! https://t.co/iPkm40LYx8
Very excited for this! GraphQL Summit will be my first time speaking at a tech conference. If you are a mobile developer working with GraphQL, I'm sure you've encountered the issue I'll be tackling.
What do you do when the schema you depend on changes after your app has been distributed? This #GraphQLSummit session will explore how schema changes affect mobile developers and how to best mitigate the issues they pose. Register now: 👉 https://t.co/fa8t1gWEKg
The first Alpha release of Apollo iOS 1.0 is up! We're excited to get feedback from the community as we move towards the official 1.0 release!
