What is the vascularization pattern of HCC as indicated by CD34?

In HCC, sinusoids undergo capillarization by losing their fenestrations and beginning to express CD34. Microvessels in HCC that experience sinusoidal capillarization show two distinct types: capillary-like microvessels and sinusoid-like microvessels.

This is an example of sinusoid-like microvessels, better known as "vessels that encapsulate tumor clusters" (VETC).
