Μία απλή ρητορική αναλυση: Προσπαθεί να μεταθέσει την ευθύνη για την ακύρωση της επίσκεψής του, εμφανίζοντας εκεινον ως καλοπροαίρετο που ήθελε να βοηθήσει, αλλά τελικά«θύμα» επιθέσεων & απειλών. Έτσι φορτώνει το βάρος της αποτυχίας στους αντιπάλους παρουσιάζοντας τους υπεύθυνους

Αυτή είναι η εικόνα στην είσοδο του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Δράμας λίγο πριν την επίσκεψη μου. Έφθασαν έως και να σκίσουν το πουκάμισο του Αστυνομικού Υποδιευθυντού. Κατόπιν αυτών ακυρώνω φυσικά την επίσκεψη μου εκεί και δηλώνω ότι για να πάω στο Νοσοκομείο αυτό θα πρέπει όχι μόνον να με καλέσει επισήμως ο Σύλλογος Εργαζομένων του αλλά να εγγυηθούν και την ασφάλεια μου. Στα Νοσοκομεία δεν πηγαίνω ούτε για να τσακώνομαι, ούτε για να με προπηλακίζουν οι πολιτικοί μου αντίπαλοι, ούτε για να με απειλούν ότι θα με πυροβολήσουν. Κάτι δεν έχουν καταλάβει καλά.
Λυπούμαι διότι πιστεύω ότι η επίσκεψη μου θα ήταν χρήσιμη για τον λαό της Δράμας και μπορεί από την επί τόπου παρουσία μου, να βρίσκαμε μία λύση που δεν έχουμε ακόμη σκεφθεί. Αλλά ας πάρουν την ευθύνη αυτοί που οργάνωσαν όλα αυτά τα αίσχη.
Η περιοδεία μου συνεχίζεται.
