@dilanesper I like soccer and love the World Cup, but as an American it’s also fun to make fun of soccer as a sport for lesser athletes. Making fun of the offsides rule is part of that (e.g. penalizing players for running too fast).

@ZaidJilani I’m no fan of Platner and probably wouldn’t vote for him, but you’re exactly right on this point. I’m tired of seeing Collins getting credit for being moderate when all of her votes that go against the party are performative. They are never the deciding vote.
