@comics_jeff It’s ironic that the end of Claremont coincided with the X-Men’s explosion into the mainstream outside of comics (because of the cartoon that started less than a year after he was gone). Most of the X-Men iconography has been tied to that era since.

@djodjeee_ True, and I also think it’s a very millennial-core song, which is kinda the vibe of the whole movie (that awkward, somewhat blind millennial optimism). “Maybe kindness is the new punk rock.” It’s a nice sentiment.
