We have freedom of speech in the UK; it's written into our law in the 1998 Human Rigts Act. But rights come with responsibilities (I appreciate that's a concept you're not familiar with); there's a requirement not to incite criminality or spread hatred online. We find society works better that way.
.@AvantiWestCoast another splendid day on public transport. 1 hour late in to London this morning, carnage coming home - standing for 2 hours with no electric points working and two carriages without air con. @kierstarmer can you please renationalise this nonsense?
Brilliant - let’s discourage those paying over the odds to study here and that might stay on for well-paid jobs that would contribute to the public purse.
We’ve gone full dog-whistle
From today, the majority of foreign university students cannot bring family members to the UK.
In 2024, we’re already delivering for the British people.
I look at a LOT of opinion polling on immigration, and I just don’t think cutting the family rights of foreign students is something the country desperately wants.
We want a fucking funded health service and some fucking affordable homes. You useless fucking pricks.
