When you feel down, start washing the floor with your hands, without gloves.
My grandmother used to say:
"The brain must return to the body."
You feel the dirt, the effort, the weight, the cold and gradually you regain control.
It's not about cleanliness, it's about grounding.
While you're only in your head, you're worried.
When you’re with the rag, you're in the moment.
Before an important decision, sleep three nights.
Not one, three.
The first day you’re driven by emotion. The second, fear.
Only on the third day does your head start to think.
And honestly, how many times have you regretted rushing?
And how many times have you regretted waiting?
That's right. This is wisdom in action.
If you can't wake up, wash your feet with cold water.
Not a cold shower, not frostbite just your feet.
Grandma used to say: "This is how you come back to earth."
And it's true, the body wakes up, the brain gets a grip on reality,
the dizziness disappears.
When nothing is going well start frying something in a pan.
Whatever it is. Even if you're not hungry.
The sound, the aroma, the heat all these are safety signals for the brain.
"If I’m cooking – then I’m alive."
Really, it brings you back to yourself better than meditation, especially on those days when everything falls apart.
When everything annoys you, go out and walk until you’re tired.
No phone, no music, just walk.
Don't run away from problems, walk through them.
Grandma used to say: "Anger is a force that needs to be burned out, not suppressed."
The faster it passes through the body, the faster it subsides.
There's nothing wrong with that. There are no breakdowns.
This is the wisdom that the old people left us.
My "Macedonian" grandmother was a terribly wise woman!
I've just completed introductory courses in Data analytics, Generative AI, Professional short skills & English for IT. It's really been interesting delving into the world of Generative AI; how it generates contents(texts, images, music & videos) from prompts. #my3mtt@3MTTNigeria

The way Nigerians consume stock fish you'll think it's a locally produced fish product. But it's actually imported from Norway.
Despite having its own coast line, Nigeria reportedly imports around $125 million worth of Norwegian seafood annually.
Fascinating stuff.
Ridley Scott’s swords-and-sandals classic GLADIATOR was released 23 years ago today. An enormous production full of star names, the making of story is as epic as the film itself.

If you run a 'black owned', 'woman owned', or 'minority owned' business, I don't recommend branding yourself as such.
Don't use your identity as a crutch. It limits your audience unnecessarily and subtly suggests inferiority. We can see who you are.
Just run a good business.
