One interesting observation from the 7th CPC methodology: if the family unit had been 4.6 instead of 3.0 by including dependent parents, the minimum basic pay could have been around ₹27,600 instead of ₹18,000.

The 8th CPC has an opportunity to better reflect today's family responsibilities by recognizing dependent parents in the family unit. This would be a reasonable and much-needed reform.

#JCM ने जिस फिटमेंट फैक्टर 3.833 का सुझाव #8CPC को दिया है, उसके अनुसार लेवल 1 की अब दिल्ली जैसे शहरों में पहली सैलरी लगभग ₹37000 से बढ़कर ₹97000 को पार कर जाएगी। वैसे सुनकर तो अच्छा ही फील हो रहा है पर कितना मिलेगा, यह समय पर है? और मांगने से मिल जाए तो मांगने में कोई बुराई नहीं। अब इसके बाद किसी संगठन में दम नहीं बचेगी कि इससे कम फिटमेंट फैक्टर का जिक्र भी कर सके। करेगा, तो फिर सारा ठीकरा उसके सर पर ही फोड़ दिया जाएगा। खैर, इस खुशी में कहीं अपना 2, 3% का #DA न चला जाए। इसलिए इसकी आवाज भी उठाना जरूरी है। #ManjeetSinghPatel
