Over the years, India’s passport services have undergone a remarkable transformation. From the introduction of e-Passports and Passport Seva Programme 2.0 to the expanding network of Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs), significant strides have been made in making services more accessible, efficient and secure.

Guided by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, #TeamMEA continues to place citizens at the heart of service delivery. Behind every passport issued lies the effort of countless officials working with dedication to help Indian citizens pursue opportunities, connect with loved ones and represent our nation across the world.

🌱 पासपोर्ट सेवा दिवस – 2026 के विशेष अवसर पर क्षेत्रीय पासपोर्ट कार्यालय, गाजियाबाद द्वारा आवेदकों के साथ पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं भारतीय संस्कृति के संदेश को साझा किया गया।

इस अवसर पर आवेदकों को पौधों का वितरण कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया गया तथा हरित एवं सतत भविष्य की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक पहल की गई।

साथ ही, स्मृति स्वरूप कैलीग्राफी शैली से सुसज्जित बुकमार्क्स एवं पोस्टकार्ड वितरित किए गए, जो हिंदी भाषा, भारतीय संस्कृति एवं हमारी गौरवशाली परंपराओं के संदेश को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने का माध्यम बने।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस–2026 के अवसर पर क्षेत्रीय पासपोर्ट कार्यालय, गाजियाबाद में योग प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया।

इस अवसर पर मोरारजी देसाई राष्ट्रीय योग संस्थान, आयुष मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार @moayush की योग विशेषज्ञ प्रशिक्षिका द्वारा कार्यालय के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को योग के विभिन्न आसनों, अभ्यासों एवं उनके लाभों के संबंध में प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया।

प्रशिक्षिका द्वारा योग के सिद्धांतों एवं अभ्यासों की सरल, प्रभावी एवं व्यावहारिक प्रस्तुति ने प्रतिभागियों में योग के प्रति जागरूकता एवं उत्साह का संचार किया। इस प्रशिक्षण के माध्यम से कार्मिकों को योग के शारीरिक, मानसिक एवं भावनात्मक लाभों को समझने तथा इसे अपनी दैनिक जीवनशैली में अपनाने की प्रेरणा मिली।

माननीय विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस. जयशंकर जी ने अपने वक्तव्य में डाकघर पासपोर्ट सेवा केंद्र (POPSK) कार्यक्रम की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि यह इस बात का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है कि जब सरकारी विभाग अपने संसाधनों को साझा करते हैं, साथ मिलकर कार्य करते हैं और सहयोग की संस्कृति विकसित करते हैं, तो नागरिक सेवाओं को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाया जा सकता है।

Delighted to address the annual Regional Passport Officers’ Conference in New Delhi today.

From 77 Passport Seva Kendras in 2014 to 545 today, Bharat’s Passport Service Programme has reached the remotest places of the nation. It is a model partnership between Ministry of External Affairs and Department of Posts.

The deliberations focused on how to improve on service delivery. This is best done by constantly taking feedback from the public.

We are preparing a global workforce for a global workplace. The efficient and seamless issuance of passports is a strong enabler.

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस–2026 के अवसर पर क्षेत्रीय पासपोर्ट कार्यालय, गाजियाबाद द्वारा पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं जन-जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से एक विशेष अभियान चलाया गया। इस क्रम में कार्यालय में आने वाले आवेदकों एवं नागरिकों को पौधारोपण हेतु प्रोत्साहित करते हुए नि:शुल्क पौधों का वितरण किया गया।

इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना, हरित आवरण में वृद्धि को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा नागरिकों को वृक्षारोपण एवं प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के संरक्षण के लिए प्रेरित करना था। कार्यालय द्वारा सभी नागरिकों से पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक रहने, अधिक से अधिक पौधारोपण करने तथा स्वच्छ एवं हरित पर्यावरण के निर्माण में अपना योगदान देने का आह्वान किया गया।
