آج میں اعلان کرتا ہوں کہ 6 اپریل کو صبح 9 بجے ہم کوئٹہ کی جانب اپنے مارچ کا آغاز کریں گے۔ ہم نے اس نااہل اور جعلی حکومت کو بارہا سمجھانے کی کوشش کی، مگر انہوں نے ہماری بات سننا تو دور، تسلیم کرنا بھی گوارا نہ کیا۔ اب ہماری آواز کوئٹہ کی گلیوں میں گونجے گی۔ ہمارا مارچ پُرامن ہے، اور اگر اس پُرامن احتجاج کے خلاف کوئی کارروائی کی گئی تو اس کی تمام تر ذمہ داری انتظامیہ اور اسٹیبلشمنٹ پر عائد ہوگی۔ میں ہر بلوچ اور پشتون سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ وہ اپنی بہنوں کے شانہ بشانہ کھڑے ہوں۔

Our peaceful protest in Quetta—organized to demand an end to the relentless and unlawful practice of enforced disappearances—has been met with sheer, calculated brutality by security forces. What was a gathering of families, students, elders, and activists has turned into a war zone. Live rounds have been fired at unarmed civilians. Tear gas and shelling continued. Protesters, young and old, men and women have been dragged, beaten, and arrested.

Two protesters have been confirmed dead. Among the six injured brought to Civil Hospital Quetta, two are in critical condition, fighting for their lives due to injuries sustained from indiscriminate firing by state forces. We have received devastating reports of a young boy succumbing to his wounds.

This is not just repression—it is open warfare against the Baloch people.

We appeal—urgently and unequivocally—to all international human rights organizations, UN bodies, and global civil society: Do not turn away. The people of Balochistan are under siege.

We ask human rights defenders across the world to amplify this brutality. We urge immediate intervention from humanitarian and legal bodies. We need observers, lawyers, and international media to document this violence. We need solidarity now—not tomorrow, not after another death—now.

Today, before the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s (BYC) planned sit-in could even begin, security forces launched a violent crackdown on protesters in Quetta. Police baton-charged demonstrators, opened fire, made mass arrests—including women and children—and used tear gas and shelling to disperse the crowd.

To sabotage the peaceful sit-in, police fired indiscriminately at protesters, severely injuring several. while another remains in critical condition. This escalation comes alongside ongoing arrests, brutal beatings, and a complete communication blackout. Meanwhile, search operations in Saryab continue, with security forces raiding homes and detaining more protesters.

Mobile networks and internet services remain suspended, and the whereabouts of those already arrested are still unknown.

The BYC had called for the sit-in to demand the release of its central committee member Bebarg, his brother Hammal, Dr. Ilyas, Baloch woman Saeeda, and several others who have been forcibly disappeared. Instead of addressing these demands, the state has responded with force, repression, and bloodshed.
