The inclusion of the Manusmriti in NCERT textbooks raises profound constitutional concerns and question of sociological impact.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar fundamentally rejected Manusmriti, viewing it as a deeply oppressive framework that gave religious sanction to caste-based discrimination, untouchability, and the subjugation of women. Babasaheb had argued in Annihilation of Caste, the Manusmriti is not a mere collection of rules; it is a psychological and social structure designed to legitimise hierarchy, untouchability and perpetuate graded inequality.

Diametrically opposed to the Manusmriti, the Constitution of India, drafted by Babasaheb, represents a decisive and radical departure from the discriminatory and exclusionary social philosophy of Manusmriti. Grounded in constitutional morality, the Constitution is a deliberate commitment to liberty, equality, fraternity, and individual dignity. It fundamentally replaced birth-based privilege with citizenship rights, hierarchy with equality before the law, and inherited discrimination with a robust framework for social justice.

In India, the Manusmriti's legacy of graded inequality and untouchability remains deeply embedded in customary practices that the nation still struggles to dismantle. In a country where the overwhelming majority belongs to historically marginalised communities and half the population comprises women, education must serve as an instrument of emancipation, scientific temper, and egalitarian values. Introducing this text into school curricula will normalise a philosophy inherently tied to caste and gender oppression, directly undermining the vision of Babasaheb and supporting the regressive and casteist vision of Savarkar and Golwalkar.

India’s classrooms must cultivate critical inquiry and social justice, not revive exclusionary doctrine of Manu, which is endorsed by RSS. The moral compass of our education system must remain the Constitution, and not the regressive, anti-India text Manusmriti.

Reservations policy is NOT an economic alleviation policy but is a constitutional remedy against historical caste exclusion, lack of representation and caste discrimination!

The Manusmriti denied equal social and political rights to Shudras and Ati-Shudras. The founding fathers of India corrected this historical wrong and centuries of exclusion by giving proportional representation to SCs and STs in public services and educational institutions, and later to OBCs in educational institutions.

Methodically, both Executive and Judicial coercion is being used to ambush the faithful intent of affirmative action in the form of reservation and the reality of caste discrimination, and convert it into a poverty alleviation scheme!

Upward mobility does not erase the caste identity of an individual!

If the upward economic mobility of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has indeed dismantled caste-based discrimination against them, how does would one explain the reproduction of caste discrimination, continued prejudices and abuse against high-ranking SC and ST officers in bureaucracy and civil services, academicians, and political leaders!?

Did upward economic mobility spare the former CJI from enduring casteist abuse, the shoe-hurling incident and everyday casteist comments online?

Did upward economic mobility IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar from caste-based harassment and discrimination within the police and bureaucratic system, which forced him to take his own life?

Is it not true that SC and ST civil servants receive weaker APAR/ACR evaluations, fewer plum postings, and slower promotions due to informal caste networks and favouritism in bureaucracy?

How does one explain the housing discrimination against SC and ST professionals in metropolitan cities or why IIT/IIM students from the reserved category mocked over reservation and assumed to be incompetent? Or, how the curse of caste and caste discrimination is rampant in the Indian diaspora?

Who has given the right to the Executive and Judiciary to dismantle and redefine caste-based reservation policy?

Who has given the right to the Executive and Judiciary to convert a social justice and representation policy to a economic alleviation policy?

बदर अहवाल गुलदस्त्यात आणि जयंतीच्या काळात मनुवादी सरकारची उपवर्गीकरणाची घाई

डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जयंतीच्या काळात महाराष्ट्र शासनाने अनुसूचित जातीच्या उपवर्गीकरणाबाबत एक अत्यंत संशयास्पद आणि घाईगर्दीचे शासन निर्णय १० एप्रिल २०२५ रोजी काढले आहे.

१. अहवाल गुलदस्त्यात, पण सुनावणी जाहीर #Educate
न्या. अनंत बदर समितीचा अहवाल हा तब्बल दीड वर्षाच्या कसरती नंतर (अनेक मुदतवाढीनंतर) शासनाला सादर झाला आहे. मात्र हा अहवाल जाहीर न करता, त्या उपवर्गीकरणाबाबत हरकती मागवल्या आहेत. प्रश्न असा की, ज्या अहवालाचा मजकूरच माहीत नाही, त्यावर काय हरकती नोंदवणार? ही निव्वळ कायदेशीर बोगस प्रक्रिया आहे. सरकारला फक्त "आम्ही सुनावणी घेतली" असे दाखवायचे आहे. खरी योजना आधीच ठरली आहे.

२. जयंतीच्या दिवसांत घाई – हेतू काय? #Agitate
१४ एप्रिल हा डॉ. आंबेडकर जयंतीचा दिवस. १५ एप्रिलपर्यंत हरकती, १७-१८ ला सुनावणी. ही तारीख निवडण्यामागे एकच कारण आहे: अनुसूचित जाती समाजातील बुद्धिजीवी, कार्यकर्ते आणि नेते हे जयंतीच्या कार्यक्रमांत व्यस्त असताना, जनतेच्या पाठीमागे हा कट रचला जात आहे.

३. भाजपचे "जाती जातीत तेढ" धोरण
उपवर्गीकरणाचा मुद्दा हा सामाजिक न्यायाच्या नावाखाली भाजपने आणलेला राजकीय अस्त्र आहे. कर्नाटक, तेलंगणा येथे काँग्रेसचे सरकार आहे तिथे उपवर्गीकरण लागू केले तरी सुद्धा एससी-डावे, एससी उजवे वर्गीकरनातील गट ह्यांनी तेथील सदाशिव आयोगाचा अहवाल रद्द करा अशी मागणी केली आहे.

एकीकडे सरकार म्हणते, "आम्ही अति-मागास SC घटकांसाठी न्याय करतोय." खाजगीकरणातून आरक्षण संपवून एकूणच SC-ST-OBC साठीच्या संधीच नष्ट केल्या जात आहेत. अति-मागास SC घटकांसाठी न्याय करायचा असेल तर खाजगी क्षेत्रात आरक्षणाचे विद्येयक सरकारने मांडावे.

४. आधी बदर समिती आता मुख्य सचिवांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील समिती म्हणजे घोटाळा लपवा लपवी. बदर समितीने जनतेचे आणि राजकीय प्रतिनिधींचे काहीही ऐकून न घेता अहवाल दिला, सरकारी नोकर समिती म्हणजे सरकारला हवा तसा निर्णय देणार. सदर प्रक्रिया ही केवळ कायदेशीर औपचारिकता पूर्ण करण्यासाठीचा एक बनाव असून, ती अनुसूचित जातीची फसवणूक करणारी आहे.

मागण्या: #Organize
१. बदर समितीचा अहवाल त्वरित सार्वजनिक करावा.
२. सदर सुनावणीची प्रक्रिया रद्द करून, किमान ३ महिन्यांचा अवधी देऊन पक्ष, संघटना/ संस्था- समाजाशी व्यापक चर्चा करावी.
३. डॉ. आंबेडकर जयंतीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर ही घाईची प्रक्रिया मागे घ्यावी.

भीम जयंती, AI चा वापर आणि धोके !

जगभरात सगळीकडे डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जयंतीची जोरदार तयारी सुरू आहे. सगळेजण आपापल्या परीने जयंती साजरी करताय. या सगळ्यांमध्ये AI (Artificial intelligence) चा वापर करून मोठ्या प्रमाणावर पोस्टर्स/बॅनर वापरले जातायं, जे आपल्यासाठी, आपल्या चळवळीसाठी धोक्याची घंटा आहे.

देशभरात डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे विचार तोडण्याचे, ते चुकीच्या पद्धतीने मांडण्याची मोहीम सुरू आहे. एका बाजूला जातीयवादी आणि सवर्णांकडून भारतीय घटनेचे शिल्पकार हे बी.एन. राव असल्याचा खोटा आणि धादांत प्रचार सुरू आहे. तर दुसरीकडे डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे विचार हे कसे समरसतावादी होते, हा RSS चा अजेंडाही सुरू आहे.

ज्या काँग्रेसी, तथाकथित पुरोगाम्यांनी बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना विरोध केला, तेच त्यांचे विचार हेच बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे विचार असल्याचा कांगावा करताय.

आजच्या पिढीतील आंबेडकरी तरुण बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे मूळ विचार, त्यांनी लिहलेले Writing and Speeches मधील मूळ लेखन वाचत नाहीये. बाबासाहेबांच्या ओरिजिनल गोष्टी बाजूला ठेवून AI निर्मिती गोष्टी पुढे आणणे आणि त्याचा प्रसार, प्रचार करणे ही धोक्याची घंटा आहे.

सगळीकडे एवढी मोडतोड सुरू असताना आपली जबाबदारी आहे की, बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या ओरिजिनल गोष्टी पुढे आल्या पाहिजे. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे ओरिजिनल हजारो फोटो उपलब्ध असतांना AI निर्मित फोटोंचा अट्टहास का?

आपणच आपल्या कलाकारांच्या कलेवर आणि पोटावर लाथ मारतोय, हे आपण लक्षात घ्यावे. त्यामुळे आपण सर्वांनी बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे ओरिजिनल फोटोज वापरावेत आणि जयंती जल्लोषात साजरी करावी.

आज मैने आंबेडकरवादी यूट्यूबर @MukeshMohannn से फोन पर बात की। मुकेश ने हाल ही में कारवां मैगज़ीन के एक आर्टिकल पर एक वीडियो बनाया था। जिसमें BJP के केंद्रीय मंत्री नितिन गडकरी की बीफ एक्सपोर्ट करने वाली कंपनी के बारे में बताया गया था। इससे गुस्साए मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने मुकेश मोहन को 50 करोड़ रुपये का मानहानि का नोटिस भेजा। पुलिस ने उनका मोबाइल फोन जब्त कर लिया।

सरकार के खिलाफ बोलने वालों को धमकाना और उनके सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट बंद करने की घटनाएं पूरे देश में शुरु हैं। हम सरकार कि निंदा करते हैं। और हम सब मुकेश मोहन के साथ खडे हैं।

इतर राज्यात छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांचा दैवतीकरण झाल आहे. यात भाजपच्या हिंदुत्ववादी राजकारणाचा वाटा आहे. काही वर्षांनी शिवाजी महाराज हे हिंदी होते असे सांगायला भाजप आणि उत्तर भारतीय कमी करणार नाहीत.

सातवाहन हे मराठी असूनही तेलगु लोकांनी त्यांच्यावर स्वतःचा हक्क प्रस्थापित केला आहे.

चालुक्य, कदंब, राष्ट्रकूट यांच्यावर कन्नड छाप प्रस्थापित झाली आहे.

आपली संस्कृती, आपले आदर्श, आपला इतिहास सगळं चोरलं जात असताना आपण मात्र अनभिज्ञ आहोत.

आपल्या लोकांना शिवाजी महाराजांच्या पूर्वी महाराष्ट्र आणि मराठी भाषा होती याविषयी काहीच माहिती नाही.

एपस्टिन फाईल्समध्ये पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांचे नाव आल्यानंतर आम्ही काही दिवसांपूर्वी सर्व राजकिय पक्षांना पत्र लिहिले होते. या प्रकरणामुळे भारत देश हा विकला गेलाय. तो फक्त आर्थिक दृष्टीकोनातून नाही तर देशाचे सार्वभौमत्व सुद्धा विकला गेलाय.

आज आमची काँग्रेस पक्षाचे महाराष्ट्र अध्यक्ष हर्षवर्धन सपकाळ यांच्यासोबत बैठक झाली. येत्या 23 मार्च रोजी काँग्रेस पक्षाच्या नेतृत्वाखाली आरएसएसच्या मुख्यालयावर धरणे आंदोलन करण्यात येणार आहे. एपस्टिन फाईलमध्ये पंतप्रधान मोदीचे नाव आल्यानंतर ते पूर्णपणे अमेरिकेला सरेंडर झाले आहेत. त्यांनी अमेरिकेकडे देशाला गहाण ठेवले आहे. एपस्टिन फाईलमध्ये पंतप्रधान मोदी यांचे अजून काहीतरी दडलेले आहे. त्यामुळेच ते पूर्णपणे सरेंडर झाले आहेत.

या मोर्चाच्या माध्यमातून आम्ही आरएसएसला प्रश्न करणार आहोत की, अशा व्यक्तीला तुम्ही पंतप्रधान कसं ठेवताय? याचा जाब विचारणार आहोत.

जनतेला आमचे आवाहन आहे की, त्यांनी यात मोठ्या संख्येने सहभागी व्हावे.
