So are people who come to US for grad school more likely to quit smoking bc no one in the US smokes? If so, is US grad school better for health than european grad school (irrespective of income)?
my favorite paper recently, partially bc it says i'm right to be curmudgeonly about remote work. for engineers, working in person means getting more feedback. This is esp important if you're young or a woman (women/young ppl who received less feedback were more likely to leave)

Public good idea: why haven’t Econ grad students crowdsourced MWG solutions better than Tadelis et al? Tadelis solutions are widely used but have many mistakes. We could have repository for MWG solns, share >1 soln per problem, downvote bad solns, etc
