@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 First 3 year argument makes no sense here. James has had time, had the rosters, in arguably a weaker conference, always ranked in the preseason top 10, and still 4-21 when it matters…. This is not a rebuild(Napier’s case) these are his teams…
@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 And you are choosing to forget that Napier is still rebuilding a program, Compared to james who basically inherited a program, Penn State has been a more stable program for years now. 4-21 is disgusting when you put things into perspective.
@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 I could EASILY argue that he isn’t better than Napier, especially with the roster he has had his time there. But hey what do I know 🤷🏿♂️
@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 Which comes with playing in the SEC. same can be said for any other coach. Bama lost to Vandy, and FL state. Those are fluke losses but when you play in the SEC it is bound to happen. Especially now there is no “easy” win in the SEC.
@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 Penn State is ALWAYS ranked top 10 every year in the pre season, it’s always the same story with them. They haven’t been in a rebuild situation like Florida has for years. Comparing Franklin’s firing to our situation is just emotionally comparing apples to oranges!
@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 The issue is yall are picking and choosing how to twist this Franklin firing on Napier… they are two DIFFERENT situation. Napier is honestly in his first actual year of building his own roster, Franklin NEVER had to worry about that, Napier has played BETTER comp Franklin no.
@InsideTheGators@Dal06883 Penn State would not be at the top if they played an SEC schedule, STOP trying to equate the two. James also never really had to flip a whole roster… y’all be fake dense… that Penn State team has ALWAYS underachieved with great rosters.
