A Muslim woman from Indonesia came to Japan on a Specified Skilled Worker visa to work at a farm in Kagoshima.
The farm told her not to wear a hijab while working. Their reason was simple:
“It narrows your field of vision, and with agricultural machinery running, sometimes you can’t hear instructions clearly. While you’re in Japan, it would be better to take it off.”
She refused and later quit. After quitting, she claimed she was treated badly — saying even during a company trip she was told not to wear the hijab, and that the founder’s daughters yelled at her to “stop dawdling” and made her run to the fields.
The farm’s response was straightforward:
“She didn’t even join that company trip. And we never told anyone to run to the fields.”
This is the kind of friction that’s already happening when people who refuse to adapt to basic workplace safety rules are brought in.

The media war has just begun!
So this mechanic was punishing his apprentice because the boy used the whole ₦2000 he gave him for food at once while claiming when he was an apprentice, he used to manage ₦500 for the whole day.
Curiously, I asked him which year did he do apprenticeship, and he replied, 2012.
I just gave a heavy sigh, and walked away

"If I’d fractured my ankle last night, the guy who did it would’ve walked away with no card. Refs need to do better. The whole world is watching."

Early yesterday, a trailer was driving behind my aunt. She decided to enter into the fuel station, which was unusual because she usually does that in the evening on her way back from work.
After filling up, a little further down the road, she saw that the trailer's brake failed, killing 16 persons ahead.
We need to be very mindful of road worthiness in this country. 16 persons were undeservedly murdered because a vehicle was not road worthy. It is crazy. How do you begin to console the families for the loss? What consolation equates to life?
GT bank did it again!!
This man sent ₦5,300,000 from his GT bank to a hospital for hospital bills.
The hospital told him they didn't receive the money,
He called the GT bank office and they told him the money has left his account
For over two weeks he didn't see the money, the hospital didn't receive any money too
He went to GT bank countless time but they weren't paying any attention to him.
Yesterday, he went to the bank, went live on Instagram and started dragging GT bank
They called security on him but when they noticed he was on live,
They became friendly and started begging him to calm down..
This money, he got his complete money back..
So why didn't they do anything for over two weeks that he was calm???
What was their plan?
If not that he went in there and went live on Instagram, they wouldn't have sent that money back..
GT bank why????
Same stories about you people over and over again..

Some years back, I went with a religious body for an outreach at Degema Prison, Rivers State.
We were briefed by the officials on the Do's and Don't's and the dangers of breaking the rules, after which we proceeded into the prison.
While at it, a young man told us something that was so troubling...
"If I leave this place, I might never attend church ever again because God forsook me! " - he said.
We were all surprised, so we pushed further for details, and that's where we heard some very disturbing things.
He said...
"I am a very strong churchgoer. I don't miss any church activity as I'm a choir member, usher, I clean, do most work without collecting a penny from the church, but one thing I'm not is a bootlicker...
I began noticing that the church branch I attended has a few well-to-do individuals who have different interests, so they recruit their own click to help push their interests by lobbying other churchgoers.
The pastor became my tight friend and stood by me in anything I wanted to do, as concerns my personal life. So when the time to elect a youth leader came, the pastor gave me his full backing and even mentioned it countlessly during service.
I believed everything was going my way, until the police raided my house, a night to the election, and I was arrested... The following day, which happened to be the election day, I was sent to prison for the rape of a minor. Mind you, when this girl came to the police station to write her statement, I never recognized her but the lawyer assigned to me pointed her to me and told me to just say I'm guilty so he'll have enough time to go through my case and file for an appeal.
Till today, not even my pastor has visited me, and I sent messages to him and other members.
Please help me in any way. The lawyer they gave me has abandoned me."
... The matter was quite delicate because it was a rape case, and it was alleged to have been committed against a minor (15) years old, who claimed to be his neighbor.
When we left the prison, the outreach committee decided to pick up the case, so a private investigator was contracted to do the job...
After a month, we re-conveined for feedback and to decide on our next course of action, and that was where everything took a new shape:
The pastor was in bed with all factions of the church and had promised them a level playground devoid any external challenger. (The boy was seen as the only worthy challenger so the pastor brought him close, for the sole purpose of "cultivating" him.)
Three weeks to the election, the "Church big men" (Factional leaders) had told the pastor not to worry, as things had already been taken care of...
3 days to the election, the man got into an unnecessary fight with someone who swore to do him dirty... (But that was created by the church to grant them a cover).
The young man was framed by the daughter of a 43 year old lady, at the instructions of her mother, who was quickly paid and relocated to Nsit Atai in Akwa Ibom (by the church) after the man had been convicted.
The lawyer whom the man thought was 'assigned' to him, was in the employ of another faction in the same church branch.
Everything was orchestrated to send the man to prison with every option of return quashed with no traces to them, so they could have an unchallenged grip of that branch.
After all the findings, another lawyer was funded by the outreach and that case was revisited... He was released after serving 2 years.
The outreach became compromised because the various factions of that church reached out, made some donations which included buses and cash, with the condition that their involvement in his case wouldn't be exposed.
The pastor relocated to Germany with his family, and till date, Peace doesn't know who betrayed him.
Well, I was going through my old jotter last night and saw where I jotted everything down.
Mr. Peace, I know this post would find you, but your church and pastor set you up!
“In uniting the country, anybody who wants peace, I will talk with him; I will negotiate with him. Anybody who wants war, we will go to war”
