Big blow to Deputy President Kithure Kindiki as he has been stripped off the powerful intergovernmental coordination commission and the powers handed over to Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi
#FreeMoraraKebaso We are currently camped at @DCI_Kenya Kiambu Road, demanding the immediate release of @morarakebaso
Earlier today, police unjustly abducted Morara Kebaso simply for exercising his right to critique KK government. To our dismay, the authorities have not only refused to release him but have also failed to formally charge him.
It is appalling that abductions and arbitrary arrests continue to plague our country. Such actions not only undermine the principles of justice but also threaten the very foundations of our democracy.
Today marks a crucial moment in our struggle for human rights. We insist on the immediate release of Morara Kebaso as the authorities had a full day to present him in court, yet have chosen to deny him his fundamental rights.
We stand united against these violations of human rights and will not remain silent. We call upon all concerned citizens to join us in advocating for justice & accountability.
Together, we will not allow fear to dictate our voices.
It is Patriots vs. The police.
The fight is on.
In this RAIN,
In this DARKNESS,
In this MUD,
In a cloud of teargas cannisters,
They must #FreeMoraraKebaso
No one is LEAVING until Morara is out and safe.
Enough is Enough
Online soldiers, keep tweeting and retweeting. Keep shouting.
