For NISF, kids designed Marine Beach Clean board games @UlsterMuseum in partnership with @future_island_!

Kids enjoyed the Plastic Soup exhibit, learned about marine plastics and discovered that for every step they take on the beach, they step over 5 plastic pieces!

@QUBelfast Master’s and BSc Architecture students, led by FII project academics, developed design projects responding to Green Transition challenges.
Using Rathlin as a lens, they tackled sustainability, climate emergency & societal issues.

Coleraine Campus hosted a special graduation day for all 146 students, marking the official completion of AoC Phase III. Special guest, Nicola Lappin, the project’s funder and Chair of the NIHE, welcomed the students with a poignant and stirring speech. @nihecommunity

This year each school also participated in creating wonderful graffiti walls over six weeks to express their thoughts & concerns about the environment, but with each issue came the children's effective ideas, such as how to protect wildlife. @nihecommunity @ulsteruni #WeAreUU

146 students recently concluded their AoC workshops with a fun biodiversity trip to Glenmona House & Downhill Forest. They investigated a 'Murder Bird Mystery Hunt' & played a sea-themed parachute game about plastic pollution. @nihecommunity @UlsterUni

‘Architects of Change’ has had a great year of forging new connections with local primary schools across the north coast region.
