one of my favorites that I drafted from the arena power cube, skull clamp is the mvp, and this is the first time I've got to draft black lotus and it's every bit as op as I thought, especially with powerful turn 4 and 5 plays! #mtga
@JesseCox No it legit sucks we're getting 4! marvel sets and that Standard rotation now has 19 sets in it. Less than two months for each set now. It's not sustainable, it's not like your average fan who comes in for an IP they like could even afford to get into the game at this point.
quick draft allows for the most absurd shit, but this is the kind of deck you draft and then go 1-2. Luckily I was able to claw back to 6-3. Strixhaven in general has been one of my favorite limited formats #mtg
@DavidLeavitt The good news is that it's text and can be used regardless of whatever bullshit wotc tries to push on us, and there's plenty of alternative systems out there with a lot of open source material. There's zero reason to stick with D&D, and 5th edition sucks anyway.
@GaryMarcus I know it's so the 'AI' can parse data but it's so fucking funny they're called tokens, and companies ran out of them. The sad stupidity of this entire situation ๐
Converting gold to gems. Quick draft just allows for some insane stuff! Milling people with tidecaller has been fun, finishing up the run tomorrow #mtgarena
Luckily was able to get the culture flip event, earliest I've formed Mughals on ironman. Gonna have a chill game conquering the world. One of the most fun countries to play as๐ #eu4
@Isabelletkrause This is one of the moments that moved Tolkien to tears. It's a beautiful story, full of regular folk fighting an uphill battle, failing often, in search of redemption. Alex here needs to review the material again!
@Mike_from_PA I squinted my eyes and convinced myself that a campaign run by the same kind of people who ran Hilary's campaign might work. It feels a lot like 2016.
@moorehn I was just saying how it was amazing when the Dems went on the offensive like that for the first time in my memory only to shuffle Walz out of the spotlight, renege on most progressive promises, and seek Republican approval (again). What could go wrong!?
