@TheRyenRussillo@DraftKings Kobe stans are the most insufferable, shameless, and unserious people I’ve ever had the pleasure of talking hoops. Plenty of great Lakers fans, but unfortunately the cult is a large share of their fanbase. Luka will never threaten them, so his fans won’t have to deal with it.
No, THANK YOU! Truly a honor to wear the 💜💛 while trying to continuing the greatness & legacies that came before me! Hope I made a few proud during my stint. 🙏🏾🫡👑
@NBAStatGuy_ LeBron’s presence will always shield Luka from that same criticism. The Kobe Kult will police the fans who say otherwise, and even when Lebron is out of the league, his “asset draining” will be used to protect Luka and warm their grievance.
@DanielConlin6@avidseries He ran against one of the most popular and skilled politicians of the last 50 years. Shit happens, but that’s not an indictment of Romney. Is Trump even a thing if Democrats decided not to run unpopular women in opposition?
The magnitude of Trump's personal corruption and the monetizing of the presidency by him and his family have no precedent in US history.
It takes a total peasant mentality, or some weird cultish devotion, to defend or excuse this, especially if you objected to corrupt Biden transactions (as I did). It's on a completely different scale.
Trump set up a crypto company (World Liberty Financial) 4 days before his inauguration, then had the UAE pour hundreds of millions into his pockets for 49% of it, then gave rewards to the UAE. Jared getting $2 billion from the Saudis. On and on and on.
Bron hitting 5 3s in a row and then the whole team coming out to pick him up off the floor against the Spurs in 2020 was definitely one of the best moments of the Bron era
@emopunkgrrrl That's the thing. People did like him. He was a revered innovator and industrialist by both sides up until he lost his mind in 2024. I remember pre-ordering that first biography back in 2015. He had what he wanted, and threw it away.
