If below all lines look short on retracement.

15-20 point stops enter on EMAs or VWAP

Take profit 15-100+ points.

I did a lot of things differently this time around, and I don't mind sharing them here.

One huge thing I realized: a Daily Loss Limit (DLL) is an absolute must! I used to specifically search for evals that didn't have a DLL, which basically meant I was unconsciously willing to blow up my entire account in ONE DAY.

For these new 50K instant accounts, not only was I happy with the ~$1.2K DLL set by the prop firm, but I went above and beyond. I went into my Tradovate risk settings and locked in a personal DLL of $400. It's very aggressive, but I know myself. On the days I drop $400-ish per account, I don't usually come back up organically. Instead, I go crazy, start revenge trading, and soon realize I've dug a massive hole and hit the firm's actual DLL.

What sucks is that, because of consistency rules, it takes several days to recover from a max loss like that. Plus, for the next few days, you have to trade with a messed-up head, beating yourself up over making a stupid mistake.

To save yourself all this drama, just set a hard, personal DLL in your platform and see how much it helps your trading.
