Because you believe in God doesn’t mean you can’t fail as a trader.

God is not the author of confusion.
I understand why many traders lean more on logic than spirituality. Trading demands logic.

But the Bible supports both logic and what may not seem logical.
Proverbs 22:29 “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

Diligence means hard work.

If you are lazy as a trader, expecting miracles, you will fail.

Jesus illustrated this in Matthew 25:14-30.
The servant with one talent was lazy and unproductive, he was condemned.

God supports hard work and hates laziness.
That is why Proverbs 6:6-8 says learn from the ants.
That is why Proverbs 13:4 says the sluggard has nothing, but the diligent shall be made fat.

Here is the bitter truth:
Some of the “spiritual traders” you mock are more hardworking than you. But they understand something important.

Deuteronomy 8:18 It is God who gives you power to get wealth.

Yes, diligence is necessary, but trading success is not a straight line. There is more to it. We find our advantage in God.
John 14:26 The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. It may not sound logical, but it is powerful.

Even Apostle Paul got this balance right.
1 Corinthians 15:10 “I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

I work hard, harder than many. But others also work hard, some even harder, yet have not tasted the success I have seen.

That is not my effort alone.
That is the grace of God.
