Dr. Seay at WellPets did such an amazing job on my partial tail amputation. A lesser vet would have just cut off the injured 3” and been done with it. Dr. Seay shaved my entire tail to evaluate the health of the tissue and removed everything that needed to be.

Tomorrow is the big day for my tail surgery AND IT’S YELL GIRL MONDAY! I’m getting dropped off in the AM and come home the same day if everything goes well. We appreciate the Cat Twitter community supporting us through all this so much!

I had my pre-surgery visit and everyone feels good about it. About three inches need to be removed, which is a bigger surgery than expected. Tuesday, May 5th is surgery day. This isn’t my first rodeo, but will hopefully be my last.

I badly injured my tail due to hyperesthesia and now the tip needs to be amputated. I’m hoping the cat twitter community can help us with the cost. We are so grateful to everyone who has already donated!

So, I chewed on my tail and now the tip of it is sort of mummified. The tip will need to be amputated. Mom and Dad have been saving for something like this, but there’s not much in the pickle jar yet. I’m hoping Cat Twitter can help!

Gotta stay in the good graces of the Department of Agriculture. Being disabled, I’m grateful that the design of our home allows my production area to be completely separate from the living area, so that I can do the majority of my work at home as my body allows.

Mom is in the tea lab AGAIN today! I tried to sneak in while she was struggling with a giant box of tea that just arrived, but got caught between the first and second door. SHE SCRUFFED ME!!! CALL ASPCA ASAP!

Mom’s bipolar disorder is acting up and I need a little help from my friends to get her through this rough patch. She loves booping my nose, so I think it would help if everyone shared pics of your cute noses for her to boop. Bring on the dopamine and oxytocin!

Today’s bandage change went great! No bleeding, because I’ve been leaving it alone (mostly). The wound is well healed along about 75% of the length of it, with a little scabby bit at the worst part of the injury. As usual, I was very brave and calm the whole time!
