The concerns raised by the residents of Krishnampalem regarding the APIIC Rambilli area have been taken seriously and are being examined by the competent authorities.

On the instructions of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Environment, Forests & Climate Change Shri @PawanKalyan Garu, the concerned officials are verifying the matter to ensure strict compliance with all applicable environmental and safety norms.

The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board has inspected the area and reported that the M/s Balaji Action Buildwell unit has not yet commenced regular commercial operations and is presently undertaking trial commissioning activities. The smoke-like fumes observed were reported to be steam generated during the standard refractory dry-out process.

Concerns relating to the nearby R&R colony, safety, emissions, noise and other regulatory aspects will be duly examined. Any violation found during verification will invite appropriate action as per the rules.

Public safety and environmental protection remain paramount.
