@buddingclover "Really? ...a little bee or a big bee...?"
Still, Basil receives the belly rub of a lifetime while his free hand dig around in the pack under his cape.
"I can't guarantee any colors, I'm afraid."
@buddingclover Because one can't refrain from petting a cat when they see one, Chamomile immediately began rubbing between his ears fondly.
"Oh? What's your idea?"
“ W-We’re looking for the way out! Could you help us? “
He turns to Chamomile, speaking in hushed tones, only to him for a moment.
“ Something about this place is screwy. I don’t want you to get hurt, my prince. “
His cart lightly bumps into the corner of one of the keeled-over shelves.
He doesn't notice the other two, too busy watching to make sure none of the stacks of fabric (and the 40 bottles of fabric glue) don't leave his cart. Or something.
"Ugh. Fuckin' hate it heeeere."
With a gasp, Basil realizes what it is.
The aisle behind them was rearing to crash down on them; like an errant bookcase, but much bigger. Before he can even wonder how something like that could come loose from the floor—
-It's staticky and not very discernible, but apparently /some/ poor fool is supposed to come clean up what nearly made fritters out of these two...
"...That was. Harrowing. I saw that happen at a convenience store once, though. Ahaha..."
It all happens faster than he can hope to protest, but the moment he realizes he's going down, he tucks himself in and attempts to block Basil from the brunt of the floor.
Rolling onto his back, he blinks in surprise as the store's PA system comes to life. Sort of.-
Basil’s wings go stiff when he’s pulled close by Chamomile, his heart skipping a few beats. He’s almost reluctant for his prince to /stop/, but once he sees the fluffy fabric, he’s similarly enraptured, going up to feel it with his fingers.
He trails off in slight horror as he looks down the walkway and realizes he’s unable to see the end.
“ C-Come to think of it… where are we? We didn’t even make a full circle, did we? “
“ E-Eek! My prince! “ Basil manages to block a few with his arms, taking the blows himself. He shakes his head to rid of the light stinging of the hard packaging upon his skin.
“ Please be careful! This place is a little… cramped… “
Pulling Basil closer in the hopes of getting him out of range of the boxes, Chamomile sighed. "I don't THINK so. This place is so *confusing*. I can't even read the aisle markers."
Looking around to get his bearings, Chamomile is quickly distracted by another fabric.-
