@sthlmsmartin@ALuckhurst5433@Urban_Immerser@whitepizzaolla It is better, but in just not understanding the $450,000 price tag for a relatively modest home in a small town. It doesn't make sense. A house like that should be larger, or with more land, or cheaper. It's just proving the point, even though it is a better example for sure
And my point is that because we build single family homes, our housing is cheaper in general. You don't build nearly enough of the homes that people actually want, and it leads to more competition in the "make-do" space, leading to higher prices there as well. US homes are downright free compared to other countries, and it's because of what we do. Sure, flimsy new build, but it's somewhere to start. It's a roof over the head and money going back into your pocket, and in relative comfort.
You missed the point that we have bigger homes and apartments, and still have it cheaper in rural areas as you chose. You guys restrict housing for some reason and then celebrate it as if it's some great achievement
What valuable resources? Why do you think we build with wood? It's a renewable resource. Energy is basically free now. Why should we sacrifice more than we already do when Indians dump billions of gallons of raw sewage into the oceans? Take care of the third world standards first, and maybe we'll hear complaints about "valuable resources"
Oh man, what a great rebellion you put up. You sure showed your government by bringing a couple grocery bags home. Getter get the saddlebags next, you might be able to upgrade to horse in the next few decades, and carry a few more bags!
You are not walking to the next city without your government knowing. The only thing more nanny state than the US government is *insert western European state*. We shoot down flock cameras, and you guys allow your national monuments to be burned down by Muslims, or arrest your native people after being stabbed and killed by invaders. Cars are freedom every way you look at it. Your made up idea that you can build hostile anti car infrastructure and still get the benefits of cars is just that- Made up.
@BharataEmpire@RakeshK32229480@PMOIndia@X@XCorpIndia@ANI@prvkhvr Your community notes would be taken down instantly. Your retarded idea of "truth" is just acting like your shit hole country is better because your feelings say so. Every aspect of US life is demonstrably better than Indians
@_A_Dent@BigDinna@frogNscorpion@jane_plainly "gO FuCK yOUrseLf"
You sound like a weak crybaby bitch. Just like the fathers of these murdered kids, just crying online over meaningless niceties when you have a giant fucking parasite latched on to your country, sucking you dry and killing your kids
@anjijoy@tompfoster@JohnWootton6 If you are trying to create a chimp out video and they not only chimp out but murder you, I think his point is proven. Nobody can live with these animals
Where do you think you can go? Are you under the impression your government can't lock your city down? You are all concentrated much more densely. What exactly are you going to do, go shopping? Bring a few grocery bags home?
I have freedom with a car. Even with a police force large enough to fill most militaries in the world, we still don't have enough to patrol the entire US. They can try to enforce lockdowns where I am, but they would fail because cars have so many places to go and so many roads to get there.
Your roads that you boast about being built "for people" are exactly why your cars aren't the same as mine. It takes minimal effort to lock down your streets. I don't know what you think it going to happen if you walk around.
You have neighbors in suburbs as well, they just have respectful distances from each other. The tradition here in the states is to bring a fish to your neighbor when they move in, whether they moved in across the street or next to you or whatever. We have great community here, while being independent. Our apartments don't have this same tradition, because apartments suck. You are always mad at your neighbor for some reason. My neighbors make noises, scream at their family, swing their car door and hit my door with no care, throw trash in the hallways that isn't mine, etc. I am young, so I put up with it until I buy a home, but once I buy a home that's it, there's no going back to an apartment.
Even having a "nice" apartment you still have to deal with the same issues, just with less shitty people. Still shared spaces I don't want to share
@not_a_ruscist@whitepizzaolla The average American house is around 2200 sqft while European ones are around 800-1000. American housing is literally twice the size of European housing
What are you talking about? Cars are cheap. I don't need to pay 80k for a new car when I can pay 15k for a used one that will last years and years. Doesn't matter if one supply chain is cut, the US makes up 1/3 of the entire global consumer market, we will always have suppliers from somewhere else.
You talk about government control as you ride in your government funded and controlled buses, trains, and subways. When COVID happened and the government locked down, you know what happened in the US? People left the shitty garbage areas with lockdowns and went somewhere else. Places like NYC were forced inside and shot with rubber bullets for breaking curfew or being "somewhere they don't belong". If you like being a slave, that's cool. I enjoy my freedom
@peacetechgo@ianatmars@TheRabbitHole We all know you subhumans can't vote. VRA was struck down. When the census stops counting non citizens, you'll lose all power entirely. The plan has been set in motion, it's only a matter of time. You might get 4, 6 years, but after that, or if you fail to get that? You're fucked
