@bobpockrass Don't tell us to get there early (we were there at 7:30, no traffic), then tell us we can't get in the gate till 9, but also tell us not to hang out at our cars. This was an overall good experience (needed more food vendors), but please don't go back.
@jeff_gluck There were a TON of people. You had to get there early to beat traffic in. Sunday was much better. Getting out both days was relatively smooth. Just needed more food vendors. They ran out of san diego merch on Saturday already.
@AustinKonenski Getting in the place is awful (off the street). Took 2 hours for a usual 20 minute drive. Ticket and security was normal. Turn 10 bridge had long lines. Trams need more cars, and there aren't enough food vendors since we can't bring in food or beverages. Caution laps were good
@_TaylorKitchen_ Took almost 2 hours to trave in what would normally take 20 minutes, and we left at 7:30 a.m. Getting out was easy. Not enough food vendors, and seems ticket checkpoints ran long in the red section, I guess at the pink casino bridge at turn 10. Trams need more than 2 cabs.
@NASCARInsights And I would still be ok with that. I will die on the hill (probably alone) for no stages or points. Just run the damn race flag to flag.
@JustinOros5 I will die on the hill for eliminating stage breaks. Pit stops will help somewhat, and if you have a bad stop, bye bye draft. But in '01 '02 they ran flag to flag basically nose to tail the whole time.
@PoconoRaceway Met @pkligerman in the pits in 2022 during the Cup race while he was doing the NBC broadcast, and he took time to sign my "vintage" t-shirt for me from 2019 when he ran the 96 GBR Toyota part time. My absolute favorite person ever!
