@Comunitynots@MarioNawfal As much as we like to pretend to, nature's wrath still outstrips the amount of instant destructive power than humanity can generate.
@NobleBear@SammyTosser@ALegendaryDrops Unfortunately, there's not really much customers *can* do with the sword of Damocles hanging over their heads, publishers have sometimes sued people for trying to revive dead games through reverse engineering. We can't move forwards if that threat exists as a legal weapon.
@Paladin_Plays_G @BeaverBallJr @EL_GONZO_OK @ALegendaryDrops So? If those 3 friends what to play Helldivers on an empty server, they should get to play Helldivers on an empty server. Who are you to decide what they're allowed to enjoy?
@Cakez77@KoltPenny @jackvaniadev TF2, maybe? Connects to valve's server to authenticate inventory, but community servers self run is build into the game, and mods can replace the item system if Valve vanishes one day.
@kanegitsuneZero@Robot_Bastard@designed_future@brennan_nnn IIRC Airbags are meant to stop your head from slamming into the steering wheel, and also neck whiplash. Racing helmets have a strap that stops the neck from flying forwards. Seatbelts, uh, don't.
@777Romangod777@usairforce I also have problems with how the MIC works, but nowadays nobody can really design new planes at the same time a war starts, gotta do it before years in advance. Better now rather than find out your current equipment isn't enough in the future.
@MxedChiq@02_palestine@BNONews However, there's not really something that can protect you against slamming you into a wall at 150 mph, outside being tied down in a carbon fiber tub with a helmet and neck support device. I doubt that'd be popular.
@MxedChiq@02_palestine@BNONews There has been, however most of it is for the pilot's use, passengers don't see it. Better radar, communications, navigational equipment, component reliability, fire prevention, ice prevention.
