@_JamieMcIntyre Lots to agree with there, but ‘the family’ left a years ago; the community company successfully purchased a mature plantation (with great plans for community woodland) and enough land to build 16 houses.
And, although far from perfect, it is a charitable (not private) trust.

I wanted to produce a thread to counter the sickening, dehumanising attacks on refugees and those seeking asylum in this country.

Then there was the petrol bomb attack in Dover and ghastly Gullis naming hotels that housed refugees. Final straw.
