Create secure apps in just minutes!

The meeting ends with decisions made and actions agreed.

Then someone has to turn the conversation into a task list.

Vocto records meetings and helps turn the conversation into tasks you can review, using offline AI capabilities.

Apptrix has launched a new version ( https://t.co/6nk53cYICW) which greatly improves the first-use experience with the app. We added a new guided tour to explain how to use the app, and fixed possible issues with the AI integration for first time users.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

A smoother first experience with Apptrix.

Our latest release adds:

• A new guided tour
• More reliable AI setup for first-time users
• A better workflow for adding content with the AI assistant

We’ve been building something

Vocto turns meetings into transcripts, minutes, decisions and actions - with a local-first approach designed to keep private conversations private.

AI meeting intelligence without making the cloud the default.

More soon.

The Apptrix editor started with minimal AI - after all sometimes you know exactly the edit you want to make. Then we added an assistant to create your app - for the times you need a leg up to get started. See more in the video at https://t.co/S9aXKse85r.

A big talking point at ScotSoft: AI that works offline.

We demo’d an Apptrix app that turns meeting recordings into tasks using offline AI.

Have a workflow where connectivity is a challenge? DM us to explore it.

@scotlandis It was a truly fantastic day - thanks to the team and thanks for having us on board!

FyneConf Eindhoven is tomorrow 🚀

A morning of talks on AI, Fyne and app development, followed by an afternoon hackathon with the Fyne and Apptrix teams.

Bring an idea. Build something. See how far you can take it.

Next stop: ScotSoft Edinburgh.

Conference season continues 🚀

After GopherCon in Seattle and London, we’re heading to FyneConf in Eindhoven and ScotSoft in Edinburgh.

We’ll be showing what we’ve built with Go, Fyne and Apptrix — including our full desktop demo.

One unnecessary 20-second lookup looks harmless.

Across 40 technicians, 12 jobs a day and 20 working days, it consumes more than 53 hours a month.

Small interface friction compounds.

Remove one step, then measure completion time and data quality.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

Useful AI starts with two questions:

What can it do?

Where does our data go?

For sensitive job notes, customer details and asset history, local inference can keep processing inside a controlled environment.

Match deployment to the data, not the hype.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

A resilient workflow is bigger than the app icon used to access it.

Document 5 things separately: trigger, data, approval, owner and fallback.

Then an interface change becomes a managed migration, not a broken process.

Operational Control lives in the workflow.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

Standardise first.

Automate second.

Automation makes a process faster.

If every site has a different approval step, handover habit, naming convention or exception route, automation will make inconsistency faster too.

Simple, repeatable workflows create better automation.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

A field app should be designed for the worst signal, not the best demo.

If it fails on site, people will return to WhatsApp, paper, photos and memory.

Reliability is adoption.

A field workflow only becomes the source of truth when it works where the work happens.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

Before adding AI to an operational workflow, ask 5 questions:

1. Who owns the workflow?
2. What data will it use?
3. Where does human review happen?
4. What will it cost?
5. How will errors be spotted?

AI works best when the system around it is visible, owned and reviewed.

Very few businesses are harnessing their existing infrastructure and running local models with the equipment they already paid for. Not only is it environmentally better but it’s responsible for your finances too!

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

“We need more data centres” - really?

Everyone is screaming for more data centres, more compute, more storage - but why? What is it that you cannot already do?

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

An official apology from Apptrix.

We’re sorry teams are building apps faster and replacing paperwork, spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads with one platform that works online and offline.

Still relying on manual workarounds?

We apologise in advance.

If so then join us in committing to open models and local inference - it’s great at most day-to-day AI and doesn’t leak any of your data to your competition or data guzzling companies.

[Apptrix.ai @ApptrixAI]

Never leak your data to AI again!

Large models from the foundation AI labs sound attractive - we always want the best right? But for your business isn’t data safety and accountability more important?
