@ShopprsDrugMart Can you please explain to me why my 79-yo palliative mom is being forced to pay for OHIP-covered cancer meds? "Your doc filled this out wrong, and since you didn't notice within 7 days, we don't have to refund your dying mom's $840."

Best part is that the doc called the pharmacist who agreed to refund the money when on the phone with HIM, but when we went in she refused us, citing this disturbing policy.
@RoadsportHonda If you hadn't gotten that ticket, we'd never have known you continued to drive the trade-in under our plates. Does this happen a lot at your dealership? We traded it to you on March 31 and the ticket was incurred in May.
@RoadsportHonda Did you know we called you about how you failed to remove the plates/registration from our trade in, then you parked it at 114 Sinnott Road and incurred a parking ticket under our name? Did you know we are still waiting for resolution?
@DrSamiSchalk Dealing w the cog dissonance that comes from intellectually grokking things you can’t yet *feel* is its own endeavour, one we rarely discuss. ❤️
This is what it looks like when people take advantage of a pandemic to fan and foster xenophobia. They’d rather have fewer patrons than give up this opportunity to normalize further social disparity.
@alitlstrawberry I’ve had one psychiatrist or another FOR OVER 20 YEARS before I could convince the most recent one to just entertain the idea I might have ADHD. She did, and I’ve now enjoyed functional life for 5 years. I’m 49. I was agoraphobic for 12 years.
@David_Moscrop I went from being informed and motivated, voting no matter what, to complete disillusionment, at a speed that wrenched my neck. I dragged my elderly mom out to vote more times than I’m proud of. Now I want to let it burn until complacent folk are ready to march in the street.
