🚨 Yesterday I posted that nearly 6,000 IRS employees owe ~$50 million in unpaid taxes.

Some replies said, “This is old news.”

Old news?

A former IRS employee confirmed to me this has been happening since the 1980s.

Read that again. Since. The. 80s.

That’s not old.
That’s institutional.

When something runs for 40+ years, it isn’t a glitch.
It’s culture.

Forty years of insiders not paying…
while everyday Americans get audited, penalized, garnished, and crushed for far less.

Taxes for thee, but not for me.

That’s how trust collapses.

And once trust collapses, compliance follows.

Now I’m seeing comments like,
“Fine. Then we should all stop paying.”

Careful.

If you stop paying, they will audit you.
They will assess penalties.
They will levy accounts.

And, trust me, it gets ugly fast. I am currently defending several clients against the IRS as we speak.

That’s what makes this so frustrating.

The public is expected to comply immediately.
The agency gets decades of grace.

That’s a dangerous dynamic.

Because, when people believe the system is unfair, compliance drops.
And when compliance drops, enforcement escalates.

That spiral helps no one.

The solution isn’t rebellion.

It’s accountability.

Same rules.
Same consequences.
For everyone.
