The working mom pays for your gas stove ban. The factory town pays for your Green New Deal. The girl on the swim team pays for your pronouns. The cop's widow pays for your bail reform.

It's a massive, evil, cost-transfer operation that pretends the evil they are pushing, is moral.

Look at the totals on the night of June 2.
Now compare them to the new poll for today on June 4.
You will notice the percentages for the Democrats keep RISING and the percentages for the Republicans keep DROPPING.
This indicates that the number of "new" ballots added to the Democrats increase much higher than those for the Republicans. Expect this to continue every day until the Democrats get the final result they want.
In 2020, there were 8 Republican House members who were all ahead on election night. After three weeks of "counting" all the ballots, ALL NINE Republican House members lost to the Democrats.
It's a perfect system. It's corrupt as HELL, but that's exactly how the Democrats continue to control how elections are done in California.

And the “the rich should pay their fair share” story is currently ahead.

Ask the average American what share of total income taxes is paid by the top 1%, 5%, or 10%, and they’ll have almost no idea.

The data is readily available, yet most people don’t look it up. For many, the prevailing narrative is simply more comforting, just make the rich pay more and the problem is solved.

In a battle over narratives, raw facts alone rarely prevail.
Bezos offered a strong tactical move by proposing to eliminate income taxes for the bottom 50% of Americans.
It challenges the status quo and reframes the debate.

Ultimately, we need a new story (and tactics), one that’s much closer to reality.
The real problem isn’t insufficient tax revenue from the wealthy. Even at 100% it would barely make a dent.
Because the root cause is and has always been runaway government spending.
