With the 157th pick in the 2015 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select CJ Uzomah, Tight End, Auburn
The rest is history 🏆
History has a way of repeating itself and there’s no place I’d want to formally announce my retirement, than the place that started it all for me and gave me my chance. The place I will always think of as my second home and will always hold a special place in me and my family’s heart. The place where we won a playoff game for the first time since before I was born, and went on an odds defying run to the Super Bowl. A place I’ve met people who have become like brothers to me. Cincinnati, thank you for everything.
Who Dey Forever
Given the full context of this throw (playoff game, they 100% lose if this isn’t converted, they ended up winning, etc.), this has to be one of the very best plays in recent NFL history.

But, that high school game at Paycor, though...
I was dumb enough to believe the Reds went into this deadline with a plan, they didn't.
I wanted them to buy. They didn't.
Some wanted them to sell. They didn't
Some wanted them to make moves to raise their ceiling in 2026. They didn't.
Some wanted them to make moves to raise their ceiling in 2025. They didn't.
Some wanted them to bolster up their farm system even more and sell high on guys. They didn't.
This was an aimless deadline with an odd timing move for a bad bat, great glove 3rd basemen, and a rental starting pitcher. Neither move really affects the trajectory of this years team, just a slight increase to the bullpen and some help defensively. Neither move really changes the trajectory of next years team.
So the Reds essentially traded their 9th and 10th best prospects, didn't get much better this year. Didn't get much better next year. All while holding onto valuable rental pieces and didn't bolster your farm.
If Nick Krall salary dumping Rasiel Iglesias as his first move, then stating they needed those funds for a SS, just to have Eugenio Suarez play Short Stop that year wasn't enough. If Nick Krall salary dumping Eugenio Suarez a year later while he was in the midst of an extremely team friendly deal (and selling low I might add) wasn't enough for you. If signing Jeimer Candelario to a large contract wasn't enough for you. If signing Wil Myers to 7.5 million dollars wasn't enough for you. If doing nothing at the 2021 deadline wasn't enough. If doing nothing at the 2023 deadline wasn't enough. Please, let whatever the fuck this was, be the final straw for you with Nick Krall. This guy has zero fucking clue what he was doing. I don't know how a single person could look at the totality of what the Reds did this deadline and say "oh, that makes sense, I get their plan."
Stop giving this guy credit for winning a hand of cards when he held pocket aces (the 2022 deadline). Also, did we even win that deadline? Are we sure?
He's a fucking clown show. Top to bottom clown show. Get his ass and anyone else in that front office the fuck out of town.*
*Reserve the right to change my mind if they make buzzer beating deals**
**They aren't going to do that because this puppet cannot think for himself***
***But if they do I still reserve the right.
Why are the Reds, with a good young core and a HOF manager, not going all out for a player like Anthony Santander who could hit 50 homers in that ballpark.
Caleb Williams has not thrown an interception in 326 pass attempts.
