@Farbod_E Crazy he was benched the entire second half. So if the Clippers win on Sunday, the Blazers lose, don’t we get the eighth seed? We’d be 42-40 and they’d be 41-41. Highly unlikely the Blazers lose to the kings, but still it’s not officially a lock per se.

@BSieman you kept saying the Clippers are locked into the ninth seed, but what happens if they win on Sunday and the Blazers lose? The Blazers would have a worst record than the Clippers and we would get the eighth seed but yes, it is highly unlikely they will lose to the kings.

@Farbod_E But ultimately, I don’t think it will matter. I think the Clippers are a better team than Phoenix and should be able to beat them on the road. Think they can really push the Spurs but think ultimately they’ll lose in 6 or 7. But hope they pull off the upset.

@Farbod_E Free Yanic, the way he landed. It’s either a broken foot or sprained ankle. If it’s a sprained ankle, he could be back within a week or two. If it’s a broken foot, I anticipate he is out for the season. It wasn’t a non-contact injury so I don’t anticipate it being anything worse.

@Farbod_E He was huge when Kawhi Leonard was out, but assuming Kawhi stays healthy next year, he was not needed as much and John Collins is a much better fit for the Clippers need to get out of the Western Conference.

@Farbod_E He did not show up in the playoffs and his role was completely diminished once Kawahi was back so he was kind of an unnecessary asset in the laatter part of the year. Getting a power forward and moving Kaawhi to small Ford is a huge addition for the clippers.

@KamBrothers also Austin and luka play a “your turn my turn“ type of offense. Luka thrives when he has athletic wings and a big man with him. They need a physical young athletic wing and big man and Austin along with others may get you that.

@KamBrothers I think the guy you have on is completely wrong about Austin and Luka coexisting. They are a duplicate of each other offensively and they are both liability defensively as a back court. They can get good value for him and get a longer more athletic wing or big man.
