Kork has been liberated! AFNM launched a counterattack and seized control of Kork town yesterday. At 5:00 AM, the 34th Regiment of the 206th Corps engaged regime forces entrenched in the town. After neutralizing more than 50 army and Adma Bitena personnel including a battalion commander the regiment fully secured the town in the Baso Liben district.
In a follow up operation, enemy forces dispatched from Yejube town to reinforce their positions were completely wiped out. Traveling in two FSR trucks the forces were neutralized and their vehicles destroyed. Yejube Hospital is now filled with wounded and deceased regime soldiers.
Similarly, the Sinan Abajime Battalion is engaged in fierce, ongoing clashes with enemy forces that gathered from Dega Segnin town, Debre Markos city and Rebu Gebeya town, supported by mechanized units. @criticalthreats

They completely overran Anchekorer town, a major stronghold for the regime's militia and riot control units in Siyadebrina Wayu district (108 miles from Addis Ababa) The operation smashed the enemy garrison, killing everyone inside.

⚡️Regime forces abduct, torture, and extrajudicially kill father of two in Tarmaber Woreda (📍North Shewa Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) on July 6th.

🔴 Regime forces detained Ato Wondafrash Niguse, a resident of Armenia Kebele, from his home during a nighttime raid on July 6th. He was held overnight at a nearby military camp before being killed the following day.

🔴 The victim was subjected to severe torture before his death. Local sources state that his eyes were gouged out and his hands were severed before he was killed. Regime forces also refused to release his body to his family for burial.

🔴 Ato Wondafrash Niguse was a farmer and father of two who had been raising his children alone following the death of his wife.

🔴 The killing triggered widespread fear among local residents, prompting many relatives and neighbors to flee to nearby forested areas out of concern for their safety.

On July 14, the regime forces based in Amanuel city and supported by heavy weaponry launched an operation to suppress and capture AFNM units in Machakel district.
Starting at 4:00 a.m, they advanced toward Debre Qelem ደብረ ቀለም planning to push as far as Dega Senyn ደጋ ሰኝን and the Choke Birhan Mountains if the operation succeeded. However, they were met with an ambush and guerrilla attacks.
The battle that followed lasted 12 consecutive hours and ended in victory for Fano forces.
In the fighting, the regime forces suffered casualties (killed and wounded) and small arms and ammunition were captured.
The Tewodros Command Commando Unit, the Sinan Abajime Battalion, and the Machakel Belay Zeleke Battalions participated jointly in the battle. @PopularFront_ @criticalthreats
