🚨 The Resident Doctors’ Association (RDA), AIIMS New Delhi, @AIIMSRDA has written to the Hon’ble President of India, expressing serious concern over reports and widely circulated visuals from the protests at Jantar Mantar.
The letter calls for:
• An independent, impartial, and time-bound inquiry into the events.
• Investigation into allegations of excessive use of force against peaceful protesters.
• Protection of citizens’ constitutional rights to peaceful assembly and free expression.
• Accountability wherever misconduct is established.
• Clarity regarding concerns raised about Sonam Wangchuk’s continued hospitalization and the protection of patient autonomy and medical ethics.
Peaceful democratic dissent should be met with restraint, transparency, and accountability and not unnecessary force.

@BBCLondonNews Happy 100th birthday to the legend who taught me how to love and appreciate nature from my childhood. And so proud that my daughter now works as a wildlife conservationist in a building named after Sir David.
@hareeshamjuri@BLRAirport The Bangalore @BLRAirport would do well to remember that it is here to serve passengers. Remove all the clutter of the commercial shops and outlets and move those further away. They can easily deliver food to waiting customers. Move the pickup back to near the terminal!
@MoCA_GoI@IndiGo6E Wish the govt thought of doctors and their long neverending hours without rest, as much as pilots are essential and need good working conditions, so do our doctors.
@MoCA_GoI What is the government doing to help? Why is @IndiGo6E continuing to lie and keep delaying flights every hour by 1-3 hours? 20 hours delay and we are like prisoners here. Can't go home, can't get out, total chaos.
If you were directly or indirectly affected by the unprecedented mass cancellation of hundreds of @IndiGo6E flights yesterday — seemingly linked to resistance against new pilot fatigue-prevention duty norms — there is one clear demand that must be made:
Accountability starts at the top.
Peter Elbers,their CEO,must step down.
When an airline’s operations collapse on such a scale, responsibility lies with its leadership. The CEO must answer for it — and if trust is broken, leadership change becomes essential.
#AccountabilityNow #LeadershipMatters
@6ESinger157593@IndiGo6E Wholeheartedly agree. Criminal behaviour of delaying flights every 1-2 hrs and expect us to believe this is innocent? 16 hours delay with no food or water, no information, nothing. Gross negligence. The @IndiGo6E ground staff deserve a bonus and high praise for covering Mgmt.
@IndiGo6E@IndiGo6E All my updates have come hours in advance via @TripIt . The monitors do not have current information. What are you going to do to gain our trust again?
@IndiGo6E You have NOT updated a single change. My flight 6e735 was to depart 4th Dec at 715pm. After 10 rescheduled timings, none of which you sent by email or text, the latest is 835am 5th Dec..14 Hours late and counting. People are angry and frustrated and all you continue to do is lie.
@RamadaWorldwide pathetic service by your frontdesk at Ramada by Wyndham SG road Ahmedabad today. After taking my signature and id card, asked me to wait and on my return had given it to someone else. They then had the audacity to deny any wrong doing and blamed it on my host.
@edsheeran@bookmyshow trying to get information about the venue for the show in Bangalore on 8thFeb. All we got was two wrist bands and no info. BMS put us on hold for 10 min and then hung up...
@IndiGo6E sitting on the tarmac in Chandigarh in 6E593 since close to an hour now. No announcement or information on why there is such a huge delay. Communicate please!!
There are a ton of people here who asked me to go to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan because I say what I say.
I like to clean up my home when it stinks. Not look at my neighbour’s house instead.
Here’s what happened:
A Spanish Woman biker was gangraped in India by 7 men - her partner assaulted
She has biked through
Pakistan
Saudi Arabia
Iraq
Jordan
And she was safe.
She got gangraped in India.
Enough said.
@sharmarekha Every woman in this country who has traveled by public transportation has been pawed, ogled, whistled or lewdly commented on...if every woman had to file complaints for each occurrence, the police wouldn't be doing much else. Going to a police station is not a joy for any woman.
