[Arbind Kumar Sharma @ArbindLive]

Child marriage steals childhood, education and opportunity. On #InternationalDayAgainstChildMarriage, let us turn awareness into action. Speak up,stand together and protect every child’s right to grow, learn and choose their future.

The announcement of World Day Against Child Marriage marks a historic milestone in the fight for children’s rights. Heartfelt gratitude to Bhuwan Ribhu Ji for his relentless courage and commitment to ending child marriage.

[Just Rights @JustRightsIndia]

With the @UN General Assembly adopting the resolution by consensus and establishing November 27 as the #InternationalDayAgainstChildMarriage, our Founder, @Bhuwan_Ribhu, expressed his first gratitude to the children and survivors whose courage gave this movement its purpose.

This Day belongs first to them, to their courage, their rights, and their dreams.

It is our promise to every child: their childhood will be protected, their dreams will not be stolen, and we will not stop until we create a #ChildMarriageFreeWorld.

They are the reason we began. They are the reason we must finish what we started.

As we await the tabling of the resolution before the United Nations General Assembly to establish #27November as the International Day for the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage, I am conscious that we are standing at the threshold of a historic moment.

The question now is not whether we know what must be done. The question is whether we will act together, with the urgency and resolve our children deserve. @un @JustRightsIndia @JustRightsIntl @worldjurist @JRCNepal @CMFreeWorld #UNGA

[Bhuwan Ribhu @Bhuwan_Ribhu]

Landed in #NewYork.

I come here carrying the hopes, prayers and determination of millions who believe that no child should ever be married.

On 4 September, the United Nations @UN will consider the resolution to designate 27 November as the International Day for the Elimination of Child, Early and Forced Marriage.

What began as a call for a #ChildMarriageFreeWorld is now before the world.

The next few days are about every child’s right to freedom, dignity and a future where they can realise their full potential.

[Arbind Kumar Sharma @ArbindLive]

Child marriage is not a social issue-it is a crime and a violation of children’s rights. Ending it is everyone’s responsibility. Raise awareness, speak up, and take action to protect every child.

[Arbind Kumar Sharma @ArbindLive]

[Arbind Kumar Sharma @ArbindLive]

@Bhuwan_Ribhu @JustRightsIndia #childmarriagefreeindia #childmarriagefreeworld
